Whenever you come in to get a massage at AMC, you not only get your muscles taken care of, but you also get your skin refreshed and moisturized! Now, not everyone has the time to exfoliate with oil every day (and let’s be honest, you would become a walking grease ball) but everyone can start showing a little more love to the skin on their bodies. Below we will list some of our favorite oils that you can start to incorporate in your routine. We recommend using oil on your body right after a shower by applying a dime size amount after warming it up in your palms.

 

  1. Argan oil. Extracted from the kernels found in the fruit of Moroccan argan trees, argan oil has high levels of vitamin E, omega-3 fatty acids, and antioxidants. It is the savior for damaged skin!
  2. Coconut oil. Best for sensitive skin, and eczema. This oil is great for super-sensitive skin, you can even use coconut oil straight from the grocery store (get cold pressed and organic). Its fatty acids make it helpful, plus it smells sweet like a dream.
  3. Olive oil. Olive oil — particularly extra-virgin olive oil — is a good all-around natural moisturizer and is recommended for very dehydrated skin. It’s super rich in fatty acids and vitamin E. It is similar to the oils naturally produced by our skin and so is absorbed well into the skin.
  4. CBD Infused Body Butter. As a new addition to our own retail store, we are really digging the great effects CBD infused oils have on the body. Not only is it helpful in relieving aches and pains, it can also help with inflammation and overall  reduction of swelling. And as a bonus… it can promote sounder sleep.
