Lisa Holden Shear developed an interest in massage therapy after giving birth to her premature son in 2001. While in the NICU, a nurse educated Lisa on the healing benefits of neonatal massage. Lisa then ended her career in environmental science and attended massage school at the Body Therapy center in Palo Alto, CA. Clinical deep tissue, sports, trigger point, prenatal, and hospice massage has been her specialty over the last seventeen years as a licensed massage therapist. Lisa has practiced at a sports injury chiropractor clinic and as an independent practitioner. In 2013 Lisa completed nursing school earning a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and is a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse at St. David’s Rehabilitation Hospital treating patients who have strokes, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and amputations. In her free time Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and running.
