Brittany was born and raised in Austin, Texas and has been a Massage Therapist since May 2008, at the age of 19. She faced a rotator cuff injury early on in her career and took this as an opportunity to intuitively learn and understand how to treat and maintain recovery from the repetitive straining she would face.
She struggled with weight fluctuations as a teen, and this physical and emotional roller coaster fueled pursuit of understanding structural balance through weight/strength training, yoga, self care, as well as learning about the the effects of physical and emotional trauma on the body.
She still loves reading blogs and books and learning about anything fitness, nutrition, and psychology related. She lives for teaching people about the Mind-body connection and practical self care. Her intuition of people and the human body and mind is felt through her detailed bodywork. She blends Deep Structural Bodywork techniques with unique self-created techniques. These techniques include a fusion of Myofascial Release, Swedish relaxation techniques, Trigger Point Therapy, and Sports massage.
