Andrea graduated from the Austin School of Massage in 2003. With an interest in holistic and prenatal massage, she began her work primarily with expecting moms and dads and soon became a certified Doula.
In 2008 Andrea discovered an overwhelming need for sports and deep tissue massage. As a result, her focus shifted to athletics and fitness. She began volunteering her massage therapy services for a variety of sports teams including the A&M swim team, Austin Rugby, Texas Roller Derby, and several marathons. She used these volunteer opportunities to find her own passion for personal fitness. She has since lost 45 pounds and is the healthiest she has been in years.
In her 15 years as a massage therapist, Andrea has developed a deep understanding of the human body and knows how different approaches can benefit her clients. Learning how people and their bodies respond to different modalities has made her a better therapist and she believes everyone–adults, teenagers, and children–can benefit from massage.
