Where did you go to school?
I attended Lauterstein-Conway, here in Austin.

How many years have you been a therapist?
Just getting started!

Why did you choose massage therapy as your career?
To help others maximize the potential of their bodies and quality of life through a better understanding of how they feel, and reduce their pain, physical and psychological so they can enjoy life.

What do you consider your specialty modality or stand out area of the body/type of injury you feel you are an expert at addressing?
I’m currently specializing in neck work, as well as feet and hands. My primary interest in educating people how to regulate their nervous system to keep the body out of pain.

How do you describe your massage/work to others?
Intuitive, informed and practical.

What brought you to AMC? And what will you bring to the team at AMC?
I started here as an office assistant while I was in school. I bring a personally informed understanding of how massage effects neurodivergent folks and how to properly accommodate anyone with specific sensory needs to give them the best possible experience.

When you are not massaging, what do you like to do with your time? What do you do to stay healthy?
When I’m not massaging I like to hang out with my cats, paint, and occasionally get a margarita with my friends. To keep my body healthy I weight-lift, bike, and take long walks around the lake, and to keep my mind healthy I practice yoga, meditate and try remember to breathe mindfully at least once during the day.
