
With marathon season well on its way, we are here to give you a few tips on final prep. These are things you might already be doing, and a few you can throw in for a last minute boost:
- Increase weekly mileage by no more than 10%
- Monitor your resting heart rate
- Take at least one day completely off each week
- Alternate a hard day and an easy day
- SKIP leg day for two weeks before the race
- Make a race day gear check list
- Strategize your supplement and food
- Plan your pre and post race massage
